Winterization
To ensure your system doesn't get damaged by frost and sub-zero
temperatures during the winter months, it's essential to have
your irrigation system professionally shut down every year.
This process is also known as Winterization or a
Blowout. An air compressor is hooked up to the sprinkler
system, and air is blown into the system at high pressure,
evacuating all the water to ensure the system isn't damaged
by the freezing and thawing of water in the pipes.

perform shut-downs from October through to December each year.
